“You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself any direction you choose”
-Dr. Seuss
You believed that.
But now you’re an adult.
And somehow it doesn’t feel like you really do get to steer.
You’re stuck.
Trapped.
Struggling.
Spinning your wheels.
This makes you stressed, frustrated, resentful, and exhausted, which affects your behavior. You’re wasting time on your phone or in front of the TV–trying to escape your life. Yelling at your kids. Annoyed by your partner. Facing each day with dread.
Could Dr. Seuss have been wrong?
Don’t worry, friend! Dr. Seuss was not wrong. You just need some help understanding how that brain in your head works, and you need some motivation for those feet in shoes. That’s where I come in. In your 30 minute session we’ll figure out which direction you WANT to choose…and then you’ll succeed! “Ninety-eight and three quarters percent guaranteed!”
What is Life Coaching?
I know this sounds crazy, but in a 30 minute zoom call I can literally help you with any problem. No, not because I fully understand all the secrets of the universe. I just understand how your brain and your thoughts work, and how those thoughts affect your emotions, and how those emotions affect your behaviors. In order to make great changes in your life, I just need to teach you how to notice and change your thoughts.
It’s kind of like therapy, but we’re not going to spend a lot of time discussing the past. We’re going to focus on the present and the future.

What kinds of goals can we achieve together?
What kinds of things can we rise above?

Pick one to discuss in your free mini-session. You’ll be amazed how much progress we’ll make in just 30 minutes!
It Takes a Village to Raise a Child
But what if your child didn’t come with a village?
Your children need lots of social time with their peers. You need a support system: friends who understand what you’re going through, will watch your kids while you’re at the dentist, and will swoop in to help when needed.
There’s a village out there for you and your kids. You just need me to help you find it. Listen to my ad-free podcast.

My Story

My husband and I have 5 kids. Yes, on purpose. I like kids, okay? But I don’t like to raise them without a TON of support. So I spearheaded a playgroup, a babysitting swap, a co-op preschool, and more! I built an AMAZING village, in which we all raised our kids together. We did carpools, playdates, and outings. We watched each other’s kids for appointments and trips and migraines. Our kids all had plenty of social time, and so did we. Now that my youngest is in school, I want to help other moms find villages like that!
I have been a big fan of thought work for over 8 years. I learned how to change my thoughts by listening to podcasts, reading books, and watching YouTube videos by therapists and life coaches. It’s so fascinating and fun for me, and I am really good at it.
On February 22, 2022 my 7-year-old son was hit by a pick-up truck. He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. I assumed that anyone in my shoes would need therapy, so I called to set up an appointment. When I told the therapist about my son’s accident, she assumed that I would have PTSD, so she took me on. When she evaluated me, however, she was surprised to find that somehow I didn’t have PTSD. Obviously, I had plenty of grieving and adapting to do, but because I was in the habit of choosing my thoughts intentionally, I was already handling all of that amazingly well. To this day, my son still can’t talk or even hold his head up, but that doesn’t stop him or me from choosing to be happy people.
That’s why I became a master certified life coach. I have loved and believed in these tools and concepts for years. Now I am blown away by their power–by the huge extent to which they hold up. I don’t want to keep a gift of that magnitude to myself.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you just trying to get me on a call so you can give a sales pitch?
Only one way to find out.
Seriously, though, I promise that you will get incredible value out of this mini-session, and if 30 minutes is all the help you need, then I will be so thrilled to have helped you!
If we feel that there is more work to do, and we’re a good fit, I’ll tell you how you can get more help from me.
I promise not to be pushy or icky. That’s just not me.
Am I going to have to put pants on?
Nope! We’ll meet in a zoom call or phone call. You stay comfy.
You’re not a psychologist! Are you even allowed to do this?!
You’re right. I am a master certified life coach, not a psychologist. If you have, or need, a mental health diagnosis, I will recommend that you see someone who is qualified to help you with that. A psychologist can help someone get from bad to good. I can help you get from okay to great. (If you do have anxiety or depression, etc., my services do not replace psychotherapy, but they may be a helpful addition to your healing journey.)
Are you some kind of hippy-dippy, nut job?
Only one way to find out! Just book the mini-session already! It’s FREE!
